The Report Designer

Sage Report Designer generates all of the reports, layouts, letters and labels that your business needs. If you use stationery supplied by Sage, the data fits in the pre-printed stationery forms with little or no adjustment.

You can also use Sage Report Designer to modify your reports, layouts, letters and labels to meet any specific requirements that you have. For example, you can align layouts with non-Sage stationery or create reports to show the exact accounts information you need for your business.

You can open your reports, layouts, letters and labels in Sage Report Designer in the following ways:

• Tools > Report Designer > open the required document.
• Open the required module, for example, Customers > click Reports or the relevant print option, for example, Letters > select the document or report > Edit.

For information about creating and editing reports and layout files, refer to the Help file supplied with Report Designer. You can access this using F1 from within the report browser in Sage 50 Accounts or in Sage Report Designer.
